bespoke conservatory

Many people think that the term bespoke and made-to-measure refer to the same thing.

I'm writing to tell you the difference today.

Bespoke is a word that comes from tailors who stocked bolts of cloth in their workshops. When a customer wanted to chose a piece of fabric for a new suit, it was said to have “been spoken for”. So when a suit made to fit your exact body shape and personal requirements was complete, it is called “bespoke”, unlike “made-to-measure” which uses a pattern adjusted to individual measurements.

Whether the conservatory you are looking for is a more old fashioned design that will look to reflect the architecture of a period property, such an edwardian conservatory or a contemporary conservatory, it will be bespoke and we will work with you on both the planning and construction, as well as the finer details to achieve the look and finish you want.

At Conservatory Outlet retailers, we use only the finest materials and employ the best staff. The aim is to provide you with the best experience you will find anywhere.

A bespoke conservatory will help to improve the appearance and value of your property in a way that is harder to achieve with standard pre-made designs. In addition to this, our uPVC windows and doors will further help to improve the value of your home.

Conservatory and double glazing, Pontefract

Be careful using conservatory and double glazing websites.

When looking for a reputable conservatory company in Pontefract, it can be hard to know who to trust.

A word of warning!

There are a number of sites offering to put you in touch with reputable home improvement companies in your area. Often the suggestion is that you can get a quote online for the work, but in reality they are wanting you to enter your information so that they can sell it on to other companies.

This results in you being pestered by a number of unvetted companies, potentially with high pressure sales staff and you're unlikely to have been able to do any research in to these companies yourself before they're ring you up to try make an appointment. We have heard many stories from previous customers who have made such a mistake, before finding our website.

We feel that if you're looking for a quote for windows, doors, a conservatory or even an orangery you are better off trying to spend a little time researching a few local companies in your area, rather than relying on these lead generation websites to do it for you.

Local home improvement companies are also likely to have showrooms, such as West Yorkshire Window's Leeds showroom, near by where you can view the quality of products in person, rather than relying on the salesman’s brochure. By doing your own research you are more likely to find a good quality and reliable company to do the work, and receive a better service overall.

Orangery

Dear sir/madam,

We are writing to thank you for the fantastic service we have recently received when planning, purchasing and installing our new orangery.

After getting quotes from a number of other businesses (some of which were cheaper), Karl was by far the most friendly, honest and down right helpful, it was for this reason that we chose to place our order with Conservatory Outlet.

We were especially impressed by the transparency of the pricing (though the use of spreadsheets, which allowed us to make additions to a budget).

We are very happy with our new orangery. The uPVC windows and stable doors look brilliant and we are very happy with the interior design as well. Karl was extremely helpful when it came to advice with the designing or windows, doors and more. Without his help we wouldn't be as happy as we are now!

Thank you once again for our gorgeous orangery, where we can relax and spend many, many years to come.

Kindest regards,
Mr and Mrs Biggs

Orangery

Dear Matthew at West Yorkshire Windows

We are writing to congratulate you on the great service we received following our decision to involve West Yorkshire Windows in the installation of our orangery.

Following our first contact with your sales staff and visit by James we have seen a demonstration of nothing but professionalism without the stupid high-pressure sales techniques that can be associated with companies operating within your industry.

From the installation of the base of the orangery. and the double glazing windows to visits made to rectify minor issues with the rockdoor, your people have shone through and you are to be complimented on the quality of your product, service levels and staff. On top of that, many thanks must go to Erkan and Paul who have both worked extremely hard and with patience in ensuring that all issues have been addressed and completed to our high standards.

Thank you and we would be pleased if you were to use this email and our experience of your company as an example for others to see.

Yours Sincerely,
John Utanga

Conservatories, orangeries and a welcome

Welcome to the new blog!

This is here to post numerous articles, feedback and general random thoughts regarding the conservatory industry.

To give you something worthwhile. Here's a quick link to a selection of orangeries which I think are particularly nice.
